Nita Desrosiers began homeschooling her five children in 2001. She recently "graduated" May 2022 when her last son crossed the finish line. During the journey, she and her husband Mark weathered the burial of their youngest child, numerous health challenges, long periods of work separation, the diagnosis and treatment of several children with learning glitches, and various other trials by which the love and support of the homeschool community strengthened their resolve to press on.
