Debbie Strayer's Biography (Long) Debbie Strayer received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in education and has many years of experience as an educator, author, speaker, consultant and homeschool evaluator. A longtime educational consultant, she has been married to husband Greg for over 33 years, homeschooled for 16 years and is mother to two homeschool graduates. Debbie speaks and writes, encouraging homeschoolers and passing along the common sense approach to education that she learned from her mentor of 20 years, Dr. Ruth Beechick.
