Joy is the preschool director and 3-year-old teacher at Kalihi Union Church Preschool. She has been teaching for 33 years and homeschooling her two children for the past 8 years. Her husband, Jon, did the first 5 years. Joy believes that each child is a Masterpiece of God with special and unique gifts and abilities. She believes it’s “better to build children rather than repair adults.”
