Peter Martin currently serves as the President and CEO of TeenPact Leadership Schools having joined the ministry in June 2010. Prior to joining TeenPact Peter was employed in the health insurance industry for 25 years. He worked for Prudential Insurance Company in California, United Healthcare in Minnesota and Connecticut and for CIGNA Insurance Company in Connecticut. Peter had increasing levels of responsibility in Group Underwriting and Product Development, including managing, strategic planning, and budgeting. In 1981, Peter earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from Pomona College in Claremont, California. That is where he met his wife, Lydia, and they were married in Pasadena California, in 1983. Peter and Lydia have eight children, five boys and three girls, ranging in age from 27 to 13. Peter joined TeenPact Leadership Schools Board in 2008 prior to being hired in 2010. He is happy to serve the students and in changing lives to change the world.
