Violet, who graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Education, homeschooled her four children for over 20 years, with the help of her husband Charlie. During that time, she and Charlie served on both the local support group leadership board, and then for six years on the CHEF of LA board. As the children grew, they participated with great success in many competitive areas, accumulating an array of state and national titles in speech and debate, 4-H, American Legion and other areas. Violet served as the state director and then the Regional Coordinator for NCFCA, and is now involved in pro-Israel advocacy. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren the most.
