Janine is a HEN (homeschooling empty nester) considers her 27 years of homeschooling her 4 brilliant children as her greatest achievement. The 3 girls completed graduate degrees, are happily married, and now enjoy exciting careers while homeschooling and raising 9 grandchildren. The youngest, Adam, the International Public Debate Nat'l Champion '2, is a NICU nurse and entrpreneur. Janine and Adam started and coach Next Gen, a K-12 Stoa Speech & Debate team. Janine completed her masters in Communication and Leadership at Park U with a thesis entitled “The Impact of Competitive Debate on News Media Literacy.� She now enjoying life as a Communication Adjunct at William Jewell College and Park U. She is also a Social Media Manager, a Copywriter for Outreach Digital Marketing (Adam's company), and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship volunteer. Married 39 years, Janine and Randy are blessed to have the whole family together going to the Parkville Family Nazarene Church making lots of joyful noise between the kids leading worship and the grandchildren running around!
