Jean Wetherilt, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 40 years of experience treating children of all ages and with various challenges. Jean and her husband homeschooled their own two children and now cherish fun times with 4 grandchildren. They are the owners of PossAbilities Children's Therapy Group, an independent clinic based in Merriam and Lee's Summit providing occupational, speech and physical therapy services. Her advanced clinical training includes areas of sensory processing, neurodevelopment, fine motor development, reflex integration and handwriting. Jean is passionate about the role of parents in the therapy and education of their children and has helped many families navigate the raising and teaching of children with learning challenges. This same drive to help children and their families has spilled over into volunteer work; serving as the unique learner's coordinator for MPE and working with special needs ministries in Guatemala.
